CLINTON IOWA RIVER KINGS

If you've got the itch for some monday night football and live within reasonable driving distance of Clinton, IA---check out the Clinton River Kings round of 16 game @ 7pm. They've got an outstanding back in David Johnson with a strong supporting cast. excellent place to watch a game. Only about 20 minute drive from Morrison High to Clinton High to give you an idea.

I plan on attending per its across the river from Fulton and I coached against this group of seniors when Fulton still went and played against Clinton teams at Erikson Field in Clinton. Should be fun.

Please confirm for me, but I believe Johnson has committed to Iowa, correct?

Which would prove he's not only an athlete, but a smart one!

Sorry he is not committed anywhere yet :) Iowa has two running backs committed already have young ones on the team now

hey goodnocall...not an offer yet. before the season, he had big interest from uni, ill state. recently, kansas and kansas st have become interested. his stock is really rising. the real deal for sure. i believe he didn't start playing organized football 'til his soph year. btw, if it's academics he's after i'm sure he'll take Bradley over Iowa. plus the BU football team hasn't lost in nearly 40 years. :)

Clinton plays Cedar Rapids Xavier @ home on Friday night. Not many Friday night games in the area, so here's an option.

according to qctimes.com this morning its at clinton as cedar rapids xavier has not played out of there region according to iowa high school association but this may of changed.
